We've attempted to make searching for the image you need simple and easy. When using Extensis Portfolio, you may search for specific images by selecting the "Find.." command under the "Catalog" menu item.
Some general rules that apply:
1. If you would like to view the master list of keywords, open "Item Properties" under the "Item" menu and you will find all the keywords than have been used.
2. You should use the singular form when searching words, for example, if you do a keyword "contains" search for "boy" you will find all images that contain the singular form of "boy" as well as the plural form "boys".
3. You will find more images when searching for partial words, for example, a keyword "contains" search for "teen" will find all images containing "teen", "teenager", "teenagers", etc.
4. You will find more images when broadening your search functions. Instead of searching for keyword "matches", it is better to search with the "contains" or "starts with" features in order to get the widest selection of images.
5. You can search for images by using more than one keyword by clicking on the "More Choices" button in the "Find" window. You can use the choice of "and" or "or" in order to narrow or broaden your multi-word search.
6. Keywords are generally lower case, except for proper nouns as used for our disc titles, for example, "Moab" not "moab".
7. You can find all the images at any time by selecting "Find All" from the "Catalog" menu.
